We are excited to announce that, starting from today, Kraken.io is powering the image optimization test of Microsoft’s site scan tool found at Modern.ie.
Modern.ie offers a scanner which detects problems with webpages, particularly cross-browser compatibility issues, and many other various optimizations which can be performed, including but not limited to a test for whether or not your site uses any of the modern HTML5 input types (HTML5 Inputs), a test for the use of any techniques to load content in advance while users are reading your content (Prerender + prefetch) and now a section for image optimization.
